About the Event
An introductory program tailored toward parents that explores the inner world of our thought patterns through scientifically proven mindfulness practices. Â We will discuss a brief introduction to the benefits of mindfulness and the science behind it. Participants will learn mindfulness tools, how to conduct a self-check-in, how to recognize emotions and their effects on the body, and how subtle changes can promote a more positive mindset. There will also be a brief, guided, mindfulness practice to allow for the experience of what mindfulness feels like.Â
For the best experience, we suggest you view this program in a quiet area if possible, with comfortable seating and any comfort items you may like to have nearby, such as a blanket or a cup of tea or water.
